PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS

Persons wishing to speak on an item that is on the Council agenda must sign the speaker’s roster no later than the meeting call to order. They may also submit a written/email request to the City Manager or Recorder at least 48 hours before the Council meeting with the person’s name and address and the agenda item upon which the person wishes to speak. There is a three-minute time limit. Once Council begins discussions, after public comment, Council does not take citizen comments or engage with them unless they are called upon for information or clarity on the comment the citizen has made earlier.
