Planning Commission Business
At its regular meeting on Thursday, May 3rd, the Planning Commission continued the Type three hearing for the Conditional Use Permit and Development Permit for a garage/ADU in the floodway at 6550 Childs. The hearing was continued until June 7, 2021.
On May 17, the PC held the City’s first public hearing on the proposed new land-use code. After taking testimony, the hearing was continued until the July 5th, 2021 meeting.

CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING The following hearing was continued to June 7th after initial testimony was heard:
A Type III Conditional Use Permit and Development Permit to construct a detached garage with an apartment unit above for applicants Amy and Jerry Anderson at 6550 Childs Road
The public hearing on this matter was conducted pursuant to the rules of procedure adopted by the Planning Commission. Oral and written testimony in favor of or in opposition to the request was received during the hearing. The Planning Commission has asked the applicant for additional testimony and will deliberate on June 7th.
Type 1 hearing for a single-family replacement home at 5455 Childs Rd. for applicant Josh Kelso, Documentation and staff reports for both of these applications are available from the City Manager, manager@cityofrivergrove.com
Mayor Walter Williams will discuss the Planning Commission’s wish to form a committee to advise them on the proposed new land-use code.
