1. 5-year operating levy status update.
2. Fiscal Year 2025 municipal audit update.
3. Discuss requesting that the League of Oregon Cities champion a legislative change in the 2027 Oregon Legislature to modify ORS 297.445. The current statute allows electors of a municipal corporation to petition for a full financial audit within 6 months of the close of the fiscal year, which overrides the exemption under ORS 297.435 and requires the municipality to pay for the audit. The proposed change would seek to adjust this provision to prevent petition-driven audits from imposing significant unfunded costs on municipalities. (Proposal Attached)
