Proposed New Code~A Look at the Similarities, Differences
Planner Kirk Fatland will introduce the Planning Commission to the proposed new Land Use Code, based on the Oregon Small Cities Model Code. He will describe how this code differs from our existing ordinances and how it is similar.
Although this is not a public hearing, citizens are invited to listen in for their own knowledge. Both the current ordinances (Ordinance 54-89) and the proposed new code can be found on our website under the heading Ordinances. There will be plenty of opportunities later to express opinions.
